This is WE.

Est. in 2014, Eureka Sound was founded by close friends Ryan Kordich and David Yun. Based out of Southern California, the group’s sound consists of luscious harmonic compositions combined with the syncopated, heavy rhythms of roots reggae. The band’s name “Eureka Sound” takes on the meaning of finding spiritual enlightenment and epiphany through conscious music.

In late 2016, Eureka Sound recorded their debut EP titled “Eureka” at Word Sound Power Studio with Andy Deemer of ITAL VIBES. Released winter of 2017, the record peaked at top 3 on the iTunes reggae charts on the week of release. The band then went on to released three more singles. “Big Pharma”, recorded at Big G Studios with Gary Larson was released in October 2018, and has become a hit tune with the feature of Iya Terra. Shortly after, singles “Celebration Time” and “Empathy” were recorded at 9th Realm Records with Aaron Kail and released in 2019. The two songs were then included in a full-length album titled “Word to Mankind” released November 8th, 2019, sitting at #6 on the iTunes reggae charts. The band has since released 3 more singles: Do Good (feat. Nick Sefakis), Brand New Day (feat. Kumar), and Talk to, and are wrapping up a brand-new full-length album that is set to release by the end of 2023.

Eureka Sound is honored to also work alongside numerous artists in the U.S. reggae scene. From being the backing band for familiar artists including Nick Sefakis, Josh Heinrichs, and Eli Mac in nationwide tours and festivals, to the production and studio sessions for several artists in the scene (Nick Sefakis, Eli Mac, Kat Hall, Elliot Brown of JBB, and more). Eureka Sound is bringing a unique and refreshing sound into the American reggae collective.
